
Cleaning in Place (CIP) is an integral part of the dairy value chain and a key pillar in ensuring the safety and quality of milk and milk products. This presentation will cover the fundamentals of CIP on farms and within dairy processing facilities, highlighting the similarities and differences in cleaning requirements across the dairy value chain. We will revisit some of the foundational principles critical to effective hygiene, and explore newer practices and management tools that can help identify, prevent, and resolve CIP challenges.
