Clarification of certain clauses in regulation R.260 to assist stakeholders with the interpretation (local and imported products)

Dear Stakeholders,

 

This serves to inform all stakeholders in the dairy products and imitation dairy products industries that Circular 1/2016 relating to the “Clarification of certain clauses in regulation R.260 to assist stakeholders with the interpretation (local and imported products)”, and which was originally issued on 11 March 2016, is hereby withdrawn with immediate effect following the publication of the revised regulations R.1510 on 22 November 2019 which came into effect on 22 August 2020.

DAIRY AND IMITATION DAIRY PRODUCTS: ENFORCEMENT DATE OF R1510/2019

Please take note that as from 22 August 2020 the time has lapsed for the transition period regarding the implementation of R1510/2019. This implies that R260/2015 has now become obsolete and R1510 has to be adhered to in full.
